ETASKR SOLVES A PROBLEM WE EXPERIENCED FIRST-HAND

We left the broken siloed world of work, to fix it. Our founders Pat and Dave met at a prestigious consulting firm. Pat was a manager who was tearing out his already thinning hair because he and his team were unsustainably under resourced. Dave was a new graduate excited to carve out a great career who was immediately placed ‘on the bench’ - consultant speak for not having enough work for you.

So when they founded etaskr in 2013, they understood the problems from multiple angles. The name harks back to their lightbulb moment that had them brainstorming the solution. They were failing with their first startup midway through the startup accelerator they’d been selected for - AngelCube.

 

We’ve come a long way since then. But we have so much further to go. The way we work stifles innovation, disengages employees, burns them out, shoves them into a pigeonhole that hides talent, blocks collaboration and most importantly limits productivity. All of these symptoms can be boiled down to one root cause. Visibility.
